Demetria Devonne Lovato was born on August 20, 1992 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA to Dianna Hart, who was a former Dallas Cowboy cheerleader. Demi is the middle of 3 children, she has 2 other sisters, Dallas Lovato and Madison De La Garza. Growing up, Demi won several talent contests and performed in famous venues, including the Eismann Center and the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day Halftime Show with LeAnn Rimes.
Demi Lovato was the star of her own Disney Channel television show called Sonny with a Chance. She started this show in 2009, filming 16 episodes for the first season. On July 21, 2009, Demi Lovato released her second studio album, Here We Go Again, and then in 2011 she released Unbroken.
Still, she didn't claim her fame until 2008 when she landed the part of Mitchie Torres in Disney's musical smash made-for-TV movie, "Camp Rock", alongside teen band sensation Jonas Brothers. Having to explore her singing talent deeper in "Camp Rock" and make a lasting impression with it, she then decided to jump deeper into music industry by touring solo on "Demi Live! Warm Up Tour". Following that solo gigs, Demi joined the Jonas boys in their 2008 Tour, entitled "Burning Up Tour".
